Unique Screen Applications
We love seeing the unique and clever solutions our dealers dream up to solve consumer dilemmas, and working with you to solve problems! Instead of just standard applications, such as over a window, enclosing a porch, or in place of a garage door, we’ve seen Rainier Screens used to protect a barbecue from the elements and in place of a room divider. And of course, we’re huge fans of printed screens, allowing your customers to show their support for their favorite team, enjoy a scene from a vacation destination, or anything they can imagine!
Recently, multiple dealers have installed white screens to be used as a movie projection screen! We recently received these beautiful photos of just such an application from Eagle Sentry in Las Vegas.
The consumer requested a projection screen that wouldn’t be affected by the weather, wind, and the reflection off the infinity pool between the screen and the projector. The final product uses Duratex 18oz white blackout vinyl, which has a matte finish that works well for projection.

Of Washington DC is the venue of this unique job we installed 7 years ago. They recently asked us to come back and change the scene from the beach to a treed scene. These were silk-screened (by Cool Screen) on Mechoshade system IQMLC. These were ceiling pocketed, coupled, sloped and ind/group controlled as well as integrated with Crestron. I wish I had video of the touch screen rear projection wall! Amazing!
