Another National-Convention-on-Years-That-End-in-6 joins the archives of the Indiana JCL! We had an amazing week hosting convention at Indiana University and hope all our friends who attended did too. We can't wait to see everyone again next year at The College of William and Mary! Keep the Friendly Hand of JCL extended, and stay silly as you "aequam memento rebus in arduis servare mentem"!

I'm going to have a formal, longer and in-depth piece on this album coming out in the next few weeks, but wanted to express thanks for the support I've received in creating it, in particular from the Classics and veteran communities.
I read and thought a lot about the Iliad before I figured out how I could tell its story in a unique and truthful way. At the core of my version is both the artifact we have in the text and the experiences and vocabulary that I was gifted by a group of veterans who told me their stories in both formal and informal settings. I feel very lucky to have been given an intimate window into a world about which I needed to know to write these songs and to tell a true war story.
