A close-up selfie of three smiling individuals outdoors on a school playground. In the center is an adult wearing a purple Chicago White Sox cap, a blue school t-shirt, and a red lanyard with a school ID badge. She is flanked by two young girls — one on the left in a light blue shirt and one on the right in a colorful tie-dye shirt. In the background, a rainbow-colored parachute is visible on the blacktop along with other students and a goal post.

A beaming young boy with red hair and freckles stands on a grassy field proudly holding up a blue 1st Place ribbon. He is wearing a blue FIFA World Cup 26 t-shirt, black checkered shorts, white socks, and black Skechers sneakers. Other students, orange traffic cones, and trees are in the background, suggesting an outdoor field day or track-and-field event.

A group of children sitting along the edge of a large, colorful rainbow parachute that has been pulled up over them, creating a tent-like canopy above. The vibrant parachute fills the top of the frame with stripes of green, blue, yellow, red, and orange. Several children are grinning and posing — one giving a peace sign — while seated on a painted blacktop. An adult with sunglasses is visible at the far right end of the row.

A large group of approximately 35–40 elementary school students posing together outdoors on a blacktop area in front of a school building. The children are arranged in two rows — some standing in the back, others sitting or kneeling in front. A large leafy tree provides shade behind them, and a colorful playground structure is in the background to the right. The weather is sunny and pleasant.

Children playing on a modern school playground featuring lime green and dark blue/gray equipment with slides, climbing structures, and rope elements. A few students are gathered talking near the base of the equipment, while one child runs across the blue rubber safety surface in the foreground. Hopscotch and other chalk drawings are on the adjacent pavement.

A group of children joyfully riding a spinning merry-go-round/carousel piece of playground equipment. The dome-shaped structure is lime green and gray, and the children are laughing and holding on as it spins. The blue rubber playground surface and the school building are in the background.

Students gathered outdoors on a school blacktop around a large colorful painted game board or activity mat on the ground. Children of mixed ages appear to be playing or interacting together, with the playground equipment, trees, and a blue sky with clouds visible in the background. Chalk drawings cover much of the surrounding pavement.

Descriptive text: Students are outside in grassy areas playing games. Students are elementary aged and several hold onto a rope as a team and try to pull another team towards them. Their faces show hard work and determination.

Students run carrying pool noodles in a game to compete with another team. Students pick up one pool noodle each time and eventually have an armful of pool noodles they are trying to carry.

Students sit and smile as they eat popsicles and watermelon together on the ground and at tables. The treats on a warm day prove to be a highlight for students.

Students throw frisbees toward a bowling pin set up on a pedastal. Four students compete at a time to try to knock the bowling pin down.

Students circle around a multicolored large parachute for an activity. Each student holds on to the parachute with two hands and the group is directed to shake the parachute, and then raise it into the air. When raising it into the air while holding on, students then sit underneath it and pull it down behind them.

Students participate in different water themed relays. Some students hold a plunger upside down that contains water in an effort to fill a bucket before their opposing team. Students carefully race one at a time to fill the bucket. In another event, students pass a water soaked sponge down a line of kids to a bucket where it is squeezed to empty the water.

Students ride four wheeled scooters in a relay race around a cone to try to finish before the other three teams.

Some students draw with chalk on the pavement in designs that have been outlined for artwork to be completed.

One event that students participated in is the running dash. Three to four students at a time dashed across the field in a foot race to see who could make it to the finish line first.

As they near graduation day, CPHS seniors walked the halls of TBall recently! Almost everything has changed inside the building since these students were in elementary school, including the playground outside! Good luck to all of the CPHS seniors as they begin their next chapter!
