Crosby Middle School

My name is Yesenia Gomez, and I am excited to be teaching RLA at Crosby Middle School. I have worked in education for more than 10 years and love helping students discover their strengths as readers and writers. I believe every student can succeed when they feel supported, challenged, and valued.

My name is Allison Wingard, and I am excited to join Crosby Middle School as a math teacher. This will be my 9th year in education, and I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence, take risks, and learn from their mistakes.

As we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year, we are thankful for the opportunity to serve the students, staff, and families of Crosby Middle School every day!

Leading a campus of 1,600 students takes teamwork, commitment, and a shared vision, and we are proud of all that our CMS students and staff accomplished this year. From academics and athletics to fine arts and student organizations, this year was filled with growth, memories, and Cougar pride. 🐾

Thank you to our teachers, support staff, students, and families for making CMS such a special place. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer!

bringing history to life through stories, discussions, and connections to current events.

A mother of nine and grandmother of several energetic grandchildren, she enjoys spending time with family, creating activities and adventures for her grandchildren, and reading.

Hello! My name is Abbigail Perkins, and I am the 7th and 8th-grade English Resource teacher at Crosby Middle School. I am passionate about Special Education and dedicated to helping every student grow in confidence, independence, and academic success.

I believe that all students can learn and thrive when provided with the right support, encouragement, and opportunities. In my classroom, I focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Hi! My name is Sam Martinez, and I’m thrilled to share my love and passion for Science at CMS as a 6th Grade Science teacher.

This is my 6th year in education and my 4th year teaching science. I recently moved to Crosby with my Australian Shepherd, Gibbs, and enjoy spending time with my boyfriend exploring new places and making memories together.

When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me traveling, enjoying the outdoors, or attending live music events.

Hi! My name is Celeste Cole. I am originally from Lufkin, Texas, and earned my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Southern University. I am entering my ninth year in middle school science education and love helping students discover the excitement of science through curiosity, exploration, and real-world connections.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, staying active, spending time with family and friends, and serving as a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.
