We hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend and gotten some rest.

Tomorrow, we begin our first full week of school. We will be continuing to work on routines and procedures while beginning to start content learning for the year. Our students picked right up last week in meeting expectations. We are in for a GREAT year!

Each Sunday afternoon around 3:00pm, a weekly schedule will be posted to Facebook and ParentSquare for activities coming up. The only thing coming up this week is our first visit from Kona Ice for the year. We will be sending out more information about that. This is a monthly fundraiser for our school.

Please make sure students ONLY bring water in water bottles. This helps in case there are spills.

This week, afternoon dismissal will be starting at the normal time of 2:10pm. We appreciate everyone's flexibility last week as we worked on our afternoon procedures.

This morning our faculty and staff were treated to breakfast from the Chamber of Commerce, Fortera Credit Union and Burdoc Farms. We always appreciate the support from the community.

Our Cougars showed up tonight. It was great to see our students and families back in the school. We are excited to get the new year started next Wednesday!

We want to thank Northside Church of God, Kelly Baptist Church and Crofton Baptist Church for their support of our school. From meals to supplies to snacks and drinks for our families, we cannot say THANK YOU enough. Crofton is truly blessed!

Just a reminder about Open House tomorrow from 4:00-7:00pm. We will have a Title 1 Parent Meeting at 3:45pm in the gym for anyone who can come out a little early. See you all tomorrow!

Make plans to join us next Thursday afternoon, August 13th from 4:00-7:00pm. Meet the teachers and bus drivers, sign up for aftercare, get a car tag number, just to name a few.

We will also have a short Title 1 Parent Meeting starting at 3:45pm in the gym. Learn all the ways Title 1 impacts our school.
