Excited and honored to begin my journey on the school board!
I looked forward to working alongside board members to support our schools, empower our educators, and help every student thrive. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the future of our community.
Tonight at 6 pm at the CISD administration building I will be sworn in.
I would appreciate the support and prayers!!

I have been asked about how do you know if you can vote for me... here is a sample of a voter card.. if your card has those numbers I pointed out below ⬇️ that indicates what district you are able to vote for when it comes to school elections...

For example, personally I can vote in District 6 (which covers a wider range of eligible voters)
Virginia Cruz is District 1

I know voting can be confusing at times so if you have any questions please reach out to me and I will do my best to provide you with the correct information that leads you to make an informed decision on your vote!

Es un honor anunciar que buscaré votos para el Distrito 6 de la Junta Escolar de la CISD en mayo de 2025. ¡Su apoyo es muy apreciado! Será un honor ganar su voto.

Me gustaría darles algo de historia sobre mí misma, para que puedan tomar una decisión informada sobre su voto.

• nacida en Madisonville, TX pero criada en Crockett TX

• ha estado casado 27 años con Horacio Frías

• Asistí CISD.. orgullosa de ser Bulldog🐾

• tengo 3 hijos: Marylou Frías- 2016 CHS Alumni , Alexis Frías- 2020 CHS Alumni y Adám Frias - actualmente de octavo grado en CJHS

• orgullosa abuela (también conocida como LALA) de un nieto - Santana

• Asisto a la Primera Iglesia Bautista de Crockett
• Fui directora de Jovenes de la iglesia por 15 años
• Fui maestra de escuela dominical de jóvenes por 10 años
• trabajé con el Ministerio de Niños
• Actualmente secretaria de la iglesia y parte del comité de liderazgo

• Fui Miembra de la Junta de Fútbol
Juvenil de Crockett durante 20 años
• Fui entrenadora de fútbol juvenil durante la mayor parte de los 20 años

• estuve con UTMB Crockett Wic durante 15 años como Consejera de Lactancia

• actualmente empleada en el Kalin’s Center un centro de defensa de los niños, trabajo como Coordinadora de Alcance Comunitario/Defensora Familiar serán 7 años en agosto

Mi inspiración para buscar esta posición se basa en 1 Pedro 4:10-11 "Servir, liderar, inspirar para el bien de todos". Me gustaría ser una voz para todos los estudiantes y facultad de CISD. Eso también incluye trabajar junto con todos los miembros de la Junta Escolar para marcar una diferencia en CISD.

Su apoyo y voto no pasarán desapercibidos. De mí obtendrán responsabilidad, mi dedicación y mi voluntad de trabajar duro.

Buscar sus votos para este puesto es todo nuevo para mí, pero si alguna pregunta o inquietud porfavor sentance libre de enviarme un mensaje y haré todo lo posible para responder sus preguntas.

It is an honor to announce that I will be seeking votes to the CISD School Board District 6 on May of 2025. Your support is greatly appreciated! It will be an honor to gain your vote.

I would like to give you some history about myself, so that you can make an informed decision on your vote.

• born in Madisonville, TX but my heart has always been in Crockett

• been married 27 years to Horacio Frias

• Attended CISD.. Proud Bulldog🐾

• 3 children: Marylou Frías- 2016 CHS Alumni , Alexis Frías- 2020 CHS Alumni and Adám Frias- currently 8th grader in CJHS

• was church Youth Leader for 15 years
• was Sunday School teacher for the Youth for 10 years
• worked with Children's Ministry
• Currently church secretary and part of Leadership committee

• Crockett Youth Soccer Board Member for 20yrs
• coached Youth soccer for most of the 20yrs

•was with UTMB Crockett WIC for 15yrs as a Breastfeeding Senior Peer Counselor

• currently employed at Kalin's Center a children's advocacy center as Community Outreach Coordinator/Family Advocate for 7 years come August

My inspiration to seek this position is based on 1 Peter 4:10-11 "Serve, Lead, inspire for the good of all." I would like to be a voice to all students and faculty members of CISD. That also includes working together with all School Board Members to make a difference in CISD.

Your support and vote will not go unnoticed. From me you will get accountability, my dedication and my willingness to work hard.
