✨ We’re out here making some BIG improvements in Downtown Creswell!✨

We’re so grateful to have been awarded the Downtown Creswell Facade Improvement Grant! 💛 With this support, we’ve been able to invest in some exciting updates to our storefront, including brand-new exterior signage, a fresh coat of paint on the upper portion of our building, and some beautiful big planters that will soon be making their way outside our studio. 🌿

We are especially obsessed with our new HUGE signage! 😍 It’s so exciting to see our little studio getting some extra love and personality on Oregon Ave.

Thank you to the City of Creswell and everyone who supports our downtown businesses and helps make our community a beautiful place to work, shop, and create.

We’re so happy to be here and hope we’ll be able to stay in downtown for many years to come! 🏡✨

Join us tomorrow for our second gathering of the season, Spill the Tea, a casual coffee & tea evening meetup created for creative moms who own a business, are dreaming about starting one, or simply want to connect with other women who get it.

☕️ Come connect, share ideas, enjoy some light refreshments, ask questions, and talk through the things that are on your mind. There’s no formal agenda or pressure to have it all figured out. Just a welcoming space to gather, exchange ideas, and support one another.

✨New Brand Launch! | Now Introducing Sweet Silence with Carolyn ✨

This has been such a fun project to work on! We’re so excited to officially share the new brand identity, Sweet Silence with Carolyn, we created for one of our amazing clients. 🌿💕

Carolyn came to us with a beautiful vision: a brand that reflected her gentle approach to helping others reconnect with themselves through the following practices:

🐾 Animal Spirit Card Reading
🌙 Guided Meditation
🌿 Mindful Movement

Carolyn envisioned something soft, feminine, peaceful, and inspired by her love of nature and watercolor.

One of our favorite parts of this project is that Carolyn actually painted all of these watercolors herself! Aren’t they beautiful?!🎨🌸

She brought us her gorgeous paintings, and we were able to thoughtfully photograph and incorporate them into her branding in a soft and sweet way. It was so much fun creating the visual identity around something that was truly hers. That personal touch is what makes Sweet Silence feel so authentically Carolyn. 🌸

This project became so much more than creating a logo and color palette. We developed a full visual presence for Sweet Silence, including:

🎨 A Custom Brand Identity: Unique to her business and included her color palette, typography pairing, main logo, additional logo variations, water color graphics, gradients / background textures + supporting graphics
🌿 A Custom Website
🎥 YouTube Channel Graphics: including cover art + video thumbnails
💌 Business Cards: Designed in two color ways so potential clients can choose the card they resonate with

Every piece was designed to feel cohesive, calming, welcoming, and sweet. And the best part? We’re not done yet! 💕

We’ll continue working with Carolyn through our new DIY Brand Coaching service, where we can support her as she takes the reins of her brand with ongoing guidance, feedback, and strategic creative support.

✨ Sweet Silence’s website and YouTube channel will be live soon! We’ll be sharing those details with you shortly, so stay tuned.

We’re so honored Carolyn trusted us with her vision, her artwork, and this beautiful new chapter of her business. 💗

Last Monday, we hosted our first Community Craft Circle at our little studio in downtown Creswell, and it was such a fun morning! 🧶✨

Four lovely crafters joined us for some independent crafting time, good conversation, pumpkin donuts, coffee, and the chance to connect with some new faces. It was such a cozy, relaxing way to spend the morning, and I’m already looking forward to planning the next one!

These are just a few photos we snapped at the end of our time together. We unfortunately missed getting one of our crafters in the photos, but she was there crafting with us! 💛

If you’ve ever opened your brand folder and thought, “Okay… but which one am I actually supposed to use?” You’re not alone. 😂

Your logo and brand assets comes in several different file types because each one serves a different purpose. Here’s your quick guide:

✨ AI — The original editable Adobe Illustrator file. Best for making changes to your logo or creating new versions.

✨ EPS — A vector file used by professional printers and sign makers. It scales to any size without losing quality.

✨ PDF — A versatile vector file that can be easily viewed and shared. Great for printing and sending to vendors.

Not every workday looks the same around here.🩵

This week, we didn’t have childcare, so my favorite little coworker came to the studio with me.

One of the biggest reasons I started Ellyn Amalia Designs was to build a business that gave me the flexibility to be present for moments like these. Some days that means client meetings, branding projects, and website design. Other days it means snack breaks, toddler giggles, and a tiny assistant making the rounds at the studio.

Running a business while raising a little one isn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We always make the most of our work days together and enjoy making memories!
