Before you print or post, make sure you have the right file! 👀

If you’ve ever opened your brand folder and thought, “Okay… but which one am I actually supposed to use?” You’re not alone. 😂

Your logo and brand assets comes in several different file types because each one serves a different purpose. Here’s your quick guide:

✨ AI — The original editable Adobe Illustrator file. Best for making changes to your logo or creating new versions.

✨ EPS — A vector file used by professional printers and sign makers. It scales to any size without losing quality.

✨ PDF — A versatile vector file that can be easily viewed and shared. Great for printing and sending to vendors.

✨ PNG — A high-quality image with a transparent background. Best for websites, social media, presentations, and other digital uses.

✨ SVG — A web-friendly vector file that stays crisp at any size. Ideal for websites, apps, and other digital interfaces.

✨ JPG — A standard image file with a solid background. Best for emails, documents, and situations where transparency isn’t needed.

Save this post so the next time someone asks you for your brand’s files, you’ll know exactly which one to send! 📁✨

And if your brand folder is currently a collection of files you hope are the right ones…we should probably talk. 😉

✨We’re out here turning concepts into creation! ✨

Great design doesn’t happen all at once. It’s a process of listening, exploring, refining, and bringing ideas to life with intention.

This roadmap gives you a peek behind the scenes at what it’s like to work with us, from our first conversation to the moment you receive your final files.

1. Consultation → We get to know you, your goals, and your vision.
2. Research → We dig deeper to uncover meaningful ideas and creative direction.
3. Development → We turn those ideas into visual concepts and refine the details.
4. Presentation → We walk you through the design, our creative choices, and gather your feedback.
5. Final Files → We polish, package, and deliver everything you need to move forward confidently.
6. Ongoing Support → Our support doesn’t end here! As your business grows and changes, we’re here to help with questions, updates, and new design needs that come your way.

Your brand deserves more than a pretty design. It deserves a thoughtful process and a creative partner you can count on along the way. 🤍

Ready to turn your concept into a creation? Let’s talk!

Not every workday looks the same around here.🩵

This week, we didn’t have childcare, so my favorite little coworker came to the studio with me.

One of the biggest reasons I started Ellyn Amalia Designs was to build a business that gave me the flexibility to be present for moments like these. Some days that means client meetings, branding projects, and website design. Other days it means snack breaks, toddler giggles, and a tiny assistant making the rounds at the studio.

Running a business while raising a little one isn’t always easy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We always make the most of our work days together and enjoy making memories!

Meet the team…childhood edition! 🤭🥹

Before the branding, design strategy, and client meetings, we were just tiny humans with questionable fashion choices and very big imaginations.

I think it’s to say we’ve upgraded our hairstyles…but the creativity definitely stuck!✨

Swipe to see the little people behind the Ellyn Amalia Designs studio. We dare you to guess who’s who. 👀

One of our favorite parts of what we do is helping bring a business owner’s vision to life, and Red Bear Bakery was such a fun one. Abbi was such a joy to work with and we’re grateful she came to us and trusted us to being her vision to life!🍞🐻

When they came to us as a brand new bakery, they wanted an identity that felt unlike anything else. Together, we explored Art Nouveau influences, traditional folk art, native plants, and a little bit of “local bread witch” magic to create a brand that feels timeless, handcrafted, and full of character.

Every element was intentionally designed, from the custom illustrated bear and supporting bakery icons to the typography, color palette, and even the business cards. We wanted the brand to tell a story long before someone took their first bite.

Our favorite projects are the ones where we get to dig deep into the heart of a business and create something that feels authentic, memorable, and built to grow for years to come.

Thank you, Red Bear Bakery , for trusting us with your vision. We absolutely loved bringing this brand to life and can’t wait to watch your business grow. ❤️

Be sure to give them a follow because you’ll definitely want to get your hands on one of their cinnamon rolls, sandwich bread and delicious dinner rolls. I promise you, you won’t regret it! 😉

✨ 4 Years of Ellyn Amalia Designs in Creswell and 6 Years in Business✨

Four years ago, I took a big leap of faith and opened the doors to Ellyn Amalia Designs in downtown Creswell. All I can say is wow, what an adventure it has been.

I’m still in awe that I’ve built a business where I get to serve our community through creativity every single day. Along the way, I’ve grown an incredible design team, built amazing client relationships, welcomed a baby onto my hip, and somehow learned how to juggle motherhood and entrepreneurship at the same time.

Some days I wake up wondering how I do it all, and then I remember that I just keep showing up. One day, one project, one client, and one dream at a time.

So here’s to believing in ourselves, taking chances, showing up on the hard days, and continuing to serve our clients and the people who matter most.

Cheers to 4 years in business in downtown Creswell and many more to come! 🥂

A special shoutout to Rift Media for helping create this video before Elowynn was born. We filmed it right before I gave birth, and I just realized I never got around to sharing it. Better late than never!

And if you’ve been in the studio recently, you might notice it looks a little different these days. We’ve added new furniture and made some exciting updates that have made the space feel even more like home. More on that soon!

Oh, and the cover photo? That’s me at my grand opening four years ago. These days my hair is shorter, curlier, and a whole lot wilder…thanks, pregnancy and postpartum hormones.😆

Thank you to every client, collaborator, friend, family member, mentor and community supporter who has been part of this journey. Your support means more than you know! ❤️

WellMama didn’t just need updated branding for their main brand, they also needed updates to their sub-brands, WellMama en Espanol and Life After Loss. The goal was to create a system that worked separately, and could also work together.

WellMama came to us with more than just a simple “brand refresh” need…they had a whole ecosystem that needed love. Three brands. One mission. A whole lot of heart. 💜🩷🩵

We started with WellMama, then expanded the system to include WellMama en EspaĂąol and Life After Loss, each one serving families in deeply different (and incredibly important) ways. The challenge? Make each one feel distinct, while still clearly part of the same supportive family.

So we built a flexible brand system that could stretch and adapt:
🦋 Unique identities for each program
🦋 Shared typography and visual illustrations (Fender’s 🦋 Blue butterfly and lupines) that tie everything together
🦋 Clear, intuitive design so families can actually find what they need when they need it

Then we brought it all into a full website experience…clean, welcoming, and easy to navigate whether someone is looking for pregnancy support, postpartum care, support in Spanish, or grief support after a pregnancy or infant loss.

The result is a connected brand world that feels soft, supportive, and intentional…just like the work WellMama does every day!

This is what we love most: collaborating with non-profits making change and building systems that hold both individuality and connection at the same time.✨

If you or a loved one is pregnant, are in the early stages of parenthood or are grieving and navigating a loss please know that WellMama - Perinatal Support can meet you wherever you are and help! Perinatal mental health matters. From one parent to another, please reach out if you could use a little support from a village. You don’t have to navigate this alone.💜

Let’s dive into WellMama’s brand photography and videography session!🦋

In collaboration with Rift Media our team filmed videos for both WellMama and WellMama en EspaĂąol to introduce their organization and highlight the importance of their work. The videos explore the range of services and resources they offer, as well as the meaningful impact they have on families throughout the community.

We also captured photographs of the team in action alongside families they have supported through different stages of parenthood, in addition to updated headshots for the organization. This included documenting their space, where we especially loved seeing how children interacted with the hanging butterfly installations throughout the environment.
This phase of the project followed the branding work, ensuring WellMama had high-quality, up-to-date visual media that aligned seamlessly with their refreshed identity.

Happy Mother’s Day! 🤍

Yesterday marked my second Mother’s Day with my sweet girl, and somehow she’s already 16 months old. Becoming a mama has changed me in more ways than I ever could’ve imagined.

Running a business while also trying to be fully present as a mother is beautiful, rewarding, exhausting, and hard all at once. There are days I feel pulled in every direction, trying to balance deadlines, creativity, motherhood, and making space for myself too.

But one thing I’ve learned is that as mothers, we can’t pour endlessly from an empty cup. It’s important that we continue doing the things that light us up, inspire us, and make us feel like ourselves too. Whether that’s creating, resting, dreaming, working toward goals, or simply taking a quiet moment alone…those things matter.

When we take care of ourselves, we show up better for our babies too. 🤍

To every mother navigating the balance of motherhood, work, identity, and everything in between…you’re doing an incredible job. And I see you. Every journey looks different, and there’s beauty in that.

Happy Mother’s Day from Ellyn Amalia Designs ✨
