Mr. Harmon's Fishing Club had their final outing of the school year at Wilborn Park in La Grange!
Everyone in the club caught at least one fish, with some students even catching two. These dragons caught a variety of fish including bass, crappie, and sunfish 🐟

We are so grateful for the professionals who came out and volunteered to share their career journeys with our students. Thank you for inspiring our students and empowering them to explore the endless possibilities for their futures!

This Wednesday, May 20th, South Oldham Middle School is inviting all rising 6th graders to our Beginning Band Night!

This event is designed for current 5th grade students who are interested in joining Beginning Band next year and would like the opportunity to try out instruments or have not yet made a selection. During the event, families will have the option to reserve an instrument for next year. If cost is a concern, school instruments and financial assistance options are available, and we are happy to help find a solution that works for your family.

If your family attended our first event on April 28th, there is no need to come again unless you would like additional time exploring options.

Families may sign up for a time slot between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, and students should attend with a parent or guardian. You may enter through Door 11 at the back of the school. Time slots tend to fill quickly, so we encourage you to sign up soon!
