Last few kiddos left waiting on the buses. (By the way, I look horrible because a few 5th graders pulled me out to the fire truck and soaked me! Please excuse.)

Mrs. Childress and I have loved being with our 3rd graders! The last day is sad for us. We get so attached to the students! We are together so much, we truly are like a family! We argue, laugh, get sick of each other, love to play at recess together, hug, talk, tell stories, cry, yell, -you name it, it happens, just like with family. We have pushed them to get the most we could from this year, we love them, and will miss them. Best of luck in 4th grade to them!!!

Going to Lonnie’s for ice cream!!!!
The nicest thing happened!!! This sweet young man came up to me and asked how many students we had, that he wanted to buy all of their ice cream for them!!!! We thanked him so much for doing such a kind thing!!! His name is Daniel Barker and he said he went to school at Camp Dick. I didn’t ask where he lives now, but if anyone knows him, share this out so he’ll know how much we appreciated him!!!

Pizza from Little Ceasers that they all chipped in for. Sprite to drink from Kaylee. Mrs. Cali brought in candy for them. The school gave out fudge pops. Then they each got a beach ball from their teachers and autographed them!!!! What a hard day these 3rd graders have had!!
