This is one of my whys:
I absolutely love learning from this herbalist. She has been a huge inspiration to me on my journey by the way she makes herbalism accessible to everyone through her free teaching and sharing of knowledge. She also sells product, until now.
I have never ordered her products. But I would never shy away from recommending anyone else try them. I just make my own and if you choose to let someone else make it so you can buy it, I will never discount you for that. But now there are many people discovering that an herbalist who is selling products nationally just isn't now. Another company is picking up the torch, but what of they don't carry YOUR product now.... if you dont know the person or their methods or motives behind their products, you should.
Make sure you know your local, community herbalist. HI! I am your local community herbalist~
Community herbalists can help guide you to plants in your area that can help support you just as well as the famous, widely used, shipped and processed herbs. Local is always better IMO~
If you dont want to make your own, a local herbalist would be happy to assist you with that as well. My apothecary is full tonics and extractions that help my family regularly and could help yours too~

I just deleted an entire page of writing. It was pretty good, I think, but it felt too heavy if I’m being honest, even though in some ways this is a heavy moment, I have actually decided to see it as the beginning of something beautiful, even if every inch of my nervous system thinks it’s terrifying.
With a burning in my chest, I am writing to say this to you, my incredible community:
After 11+ years of running Wild Wood Apothecary, I am moving on; the apothecary will not reopen.
Don’t freak out. Give me a moment to get through this, please.
I am not going away; I am not done; I am simply closing the chapter of 14-hour days, a 7-day-a-week workload, looking at numbers, ad accounts, dealing with all the micro and not-so-micro stresses, and the crushing workload of running a pretty large, at this point, small business essentially all by myself.
One huge help I have actually had over the last 4 years or so comes from BeeHive Botanicals. They are a small, generationally owned family business that runs an amazing production facility, and they are the ones who have been making all of my Synergism Capsules & Mouth Mud formulas for me. I chose them years ago because they share my high standards and strive for quality at every turn.
This is why I am incredibly grateful to say that even though Wild Wood Apothecary is shutting down, my formulas you have grown not just to love but sincerely rely on for your wellbeing will continue under the BeeHive Botanicals brand, and because they have always been the ones who made my formulas for me, quite literally the only thing that will change is the label on the bottle.
As you can imagine, this is a huge transition. I have quite a lot of formulas, so, for the time being, BeeHive will be taking on and bringing back five blends at a time to make it far less overwhelming for them, and we took real consideration into which blends a majority of you count on most, bringing them back first. Early in the new year, BeeHive will bring back the following:
Wild Yam + Chamomile
Chamomile + Pine Pollen
Shilajit + Bee Pollen
Rosemary + Lion’s Mane
Raw Nutrient
If you, my community, show up to keep these core blends alive for them in the same way you have done for me over the years, they will be able to bring on more & more of my formulas.
Please know I deeply trust Beehive to keep everything the same. It has been a core part of our discussion over the last 4 months it took to pull this crazy thing off, and they have my complete trust and support to keep my formulas alive and well for my community.

Okay, now let’s get excited! Really, though, I know a vast majority of you are here with me because of my free herbal teachings, my books, my YouTube videos, my Brain Dump emails, my Health Q&A’s, and everything else I have centered the Apothecary around for 11+ years, and guess what?
I’m free! I have just in so many ways had my golden handcuffs removed, the FDA “don’t say that” tape taken off of my mouth, and have been given back the freedom of time. While in the beginning this time will be geared towards healing my body from insurmountable, prolonged chronic stress, I know myself, it won’t be long before I come out swinging with new videos, books, consultations (finally!), and the ability to be utterly and truly myself as I step into my genuine passion, which has always been teaching freely.
I know some of you will be sad, some will be mad, some will be understanding, and a whole lot of my competition will probably be happy, but this chapter closing is actually an important chapter that is just beginning. It’s going to be something wild, amazing, and truly me.
So thank you, thank you from the deepest part of my being for supporting my ability to exist, to grow, to keep a roof over my head and tea in my cup for 11+ years. You have changed my life in ways I will never be able to express fully and have helped me grow into the woman I am now.
