It’s GO time for Mickensy Ellis-White…send her some good vibes ❤️🇺🇸💙
This Army Veteran (and Danville native) is a Top 20 finalists at the Ms Veteran America competition in Tampa

She’s worked very hard preparing for this prestigious competition and I’m so proud of her 🎉

She has received two awards this weekend thus far which are the Selfless Service Award and Top 10 fundraiser recipient!

Did you know?

We have one of our very own Danville natives who is vying for the position of Ms. Veteran America

Mickensy Ellis-White is not only a Veteran (serving two tours in Iraq), but she is a business owner, a wife, an advocate and one of the kindest women you could possibly meet.

Please send her some well wishes as she will interview as a Top 20 finalist today with the pageant and finals on Sunday
❤️🇺🇸💙

She’s the first one to introduce herself

So proud of my niece Hayley Siefert for being named Woman of the Year!

She is very deserving of this award though she would never think so 💜

I could go on and on about Hayley & her many accomplishments but I will only point out one thing.
She competed in pageantry (former fair Queen) and I feel she learned many of her communication and public speaking skills through pageantry. And look at her now.

Please consider supporting this family who tragically lost their son. Click on the link below.

Any amount will help. I rarely ask for anything from anyone but I’m asking for help now.

The loss of a young adult child is never anything a parent plans for. Any amount will help. A funeral and all of the expenses that come along with it are extremely costly.

There is currently only $980.00 raised out of a $10,000 goal.
I know personally that goal doesn’t cover a funeral let alone a burial plot and headstone.
