Day 5 Christmas in July
We enjoyed chalking the tennis court for the last time. Last night’s rain gave us a clean slate. We definitely enjoyed the cloud coverage. We watered our plants. Next, the kids chose what they wanted to do. We had sketch books(most of them made it a sticker book), ornaments, pet rocks, or making cards. We built snowmen for snack! We also had leftovers from the other days. After snack, we decorated all of our salt dough ornaments. Then we did inventors workshop again. Last we played in the gameroom.
We had a great little group this week!

Day 4 Christmas in July
Just like every other day, we did chalk on the tennis court. Then we watered our plants. Next, we made salt dough ornaments. Then baked them. We will paint them tomorrow. We made snowflakes out of pretzels and marshmallows for snack! We watched Paulie, the bird, get a bath! His wings are really beautiful!🦜
We made two different resist snowflakes. We did inventors workshop and games in the gameroom again.
It did not rain!☔️The clouds made it bearable to be outside!☁️

Day 3 Christmas in July
It was SUPER hot today. We watered our plants. We made things with wiki sticks. We did shaving cream art. We ate snowmen that we made out of powered donuts! We visited with January, AKA Burt, the cat. We did oil pastel art. 🫟Today we got messy!🫟
The kids made more things in the inventors workshop. Last, we played games in the gameroom. Today, Henry beat us in foosball. Two adults against one child. He still WON.🥇

I feel like STPSB🤣….We are monitoring the weather. It looks like it will not start until Wednesday afternoon. We have a whole house generator, so we will NOT be in the dark if the power goes out. We have saved a bunch of projects that can be done in the gameroom if the weather gets bad.☔️

Day 2 Christmas in July
Today we planted and watered our plants. We made fish prints and decorated our visors. We ate snowman cheese sticks and penguins for snack. We did sand art. We did inventors workshop. They LOVE it! I am amazed at the things they make from a bunch of recycled materials! They are SO creative! We ended with games in the gameroom.

Day 1 Christmas in July
Of course, we started with chalk art. Then we did smash art. It is always SO fun to watch them to do this activity. We decorated our fans, because it is HOT outside! We ate grinch popcorn for a snack. We made and sailed Christmas boats. I LOVE that they used their fans to make them sail in the pool. We decorate our planters. We will plant seeds tomorrow! We also made paper snowflakes. Last, we played in the gameroom. We have a great group of campers! It is going to be a fantastic week!
FYI: The big girl is my daughter, Lake. She is very creative, so she helps us! She will be a junior at LSU in the fall in architecture. (Keep her in mind if you need a babysitter!)

We have planned. We have sorted all our supplies! We are READY!🎨
