I vote in every election because six years ago, I knew what it was like to be on the ballot 🗳️

I vote in every election because less than three decades ago, many members of my family couldn’t.

I vote in every election because women have only had the right to vote in this country for about a century.

I vote in every election because many people who contribute greatly to this country still can’t.

Sending love, stillness, and grace to my friends awaiting the results tonight. You all have shown up, fulfilled your civic duty, and made your voices heard. That is truly admirable 👏🏽

That’s a wrap — Sacramento, Palm Dessert, San Diego and Vegas in one week ✈️

Grateful for these opportunities! Now it’s time to get back to my community 🫶🏽

8 years together, 6 months till “I do” 💍

Busy season lately — but we always make time for a date night ❤️Feeling extra grateful for my supportive fiancé and this life we’re building together!

My favorite part of this event was spending time with these incredible women 💐

Each person there has made a meaningful impact on my life, and I’m truly grateful for their support. Female friendships mean so much to me, and I’m honored to call these amazing women my amigas 🤎

In mid-December, I completed the Strategy Ex*****on for Public Leadership Certificate Program through online.

During this time, I was balancing long days at work, night/weekend events, meeting my deadlines for this certification, and preparing for the holidays. It was hectic, but I learned a lot!

This program highlighted effective leadership strategies, referenced local and national scenarios, emphasized the power of public & private partnerships and the impact policies and legislation have on vulnerable communities across the world.

In my cohort, I had the opportunity to meet leaders from different parts of the U.S. and in various countries 🌎 This opportunity reaffirmed my passion for community, leadership, and public/private partnerships!

Feeling very grateful and privileged to continue learning and expanding my knowledge in this field. Who knows, maybe this will lead to educational opportunities in the future — we’ll see 📚🫶🏽
