This little guy is finally doing well, after strruggling all day from the cold weather and a complication with its mom. I guess the kids will be happy to have a new classroom pet for a while.

Do you believe this?

What if this Christmas Season we were to take every opportunity the Lord gives us to share our personal testimony with someone else about all the “great things” He has done for us? For most of us this is a little out of our comfort zone or perhaps it may seem daunting. Or perhaps truth be told, we feel the not so great things out number the “great things” God may be doing in our lives.

Pain, heartache, hardship, and suffering are real even for believers. They are part of our fallen world. However, our redemption is in the cross and empty tomb. We have have HOPE! If you are a Child of God, not mater what is going on in in your life, you can lift your eyes upward from your circumstances. God is still the same yesterday as today. He is sovereign over every moment of your life.

“Keep Christ in CHRISTmas”, is often voiced to others around the Holiday season. During Christmas, it is often hard to slow down. Delightful parties, satisfying food, enchanting decorations, and illuminating lights fill the atmosphere all around us. Often it is hard to truly slow down, to reflect the gift of Heavenly Hope given to us not long ago. The Savior, who is the light of the world, unable to be hidden but revealed to us and live among us. If we imagined that first night, it was not noisy like the world around us, but peaceful and noiseless. The anticipation of a Messiah had arrived! Awaiting to be celebrated immensely and worshiped with reverent attention.

Perhaps it is not the decorations or superficial items that divert us from our worship but grief, disease, hardships, or the burdens we carry. Those items are real. In a moment a telephone call can change our lives. However, the light that was shone for you and I remains the same.

It's that time of year when we all start making summer plans. You could be planning on spending more time together, experiencing something new as a family, or ways to grow together. What if you planned to do all those things and more, by serving together---this summer. Have you ever thought about going on a mission trip together--serving and growing your relationship with Jesus-- TOGETHER? You dont need to travel, but invite a child in your home. Host an International orphan this summer. We would love to come a long beside you, this summer. These kids need adult relationships to support them, love them, and point them in the right direction.

Our host kid this past Christmas told us no one called him or texted him on Christmas. His best part about America was having a family and experiencing one. Could you give a child hope this summer--pointing them to Jesus and showing them they are loved beyond measure? Summer photo listings are opening up soon! Please start praying how God could use you! In August 2020 I made a surprise visit to go see my sister. Little did I know that visit would be the last time we would have a meaningful and engaged conversation, before she drastically declined from brain cancer. During my visit we talked about death, heaven, cancer, treatment options, and her family. Our conversation was more focused on other people than herself.

When I was young my mother would take my two younger siblings and me to the grocery store, every Friday. We didn’t mind going as we indulged in various samples. She would make her way around the store picking out groceries and spending hours in conversations with the people at the store. She loved talking to everyone and becoming acquainted to them.

Come join the fun at 3:30 pm today!!! We are ready for lots of fun!

Our Lord has planted seeds in each of us, waiting for us to water them and nourish them. He is waiting to harvest what He plants, with the right water and soil that little seed He has planted will turn into something beautiful!

In Mathew Jesus refers to God as "Lord of the Harvest". How are you letting the seeds planted grow? He needs the seeds in you to grow in order to plant more seeds in others. Think about this Harvest Season watering your seeds to produce seeds in others!

This Friday we will be having our harvest event! Come celebrate Lord of the Harvest! This is FREE! Kids can paint pumpkins, make an autumn lantern, decorate a cookie, pet the lambs, hold chicks, and many other things to do! Each child will be given a goodie bag and a coupon for a free ice cream cone in Marble Falls!
