🎉 One of our very own is running for LC School Board! 🎉

This morning I filed my paperwork to once again run for school board. Thank you to everyone who signed my petition to get on the ballot.
Lewis Central has always been my home, and I am so thankful for the opportunities I’ve had to give back to the school that has given me and my family so much. I am both humbled and proud to be a part of an amazing community.
Lewis Central has always strived to Inspire Excellence, be it in the classroom, in athletics, and on the stage. We are a close knit community who always show up for our students, and I have always answered the call during my time on the board. I will continue to make LC a priority, and if re-elected, I will always show up!
In my time on the board I have visited all four educational buildings, seeing in person the wonderful things happening in our schools, and the adept educators teaching the next generation of Titans. I have made strong working relationships with the administration of all buildings, and our awesome superintendent. Lewis Central is certain to grow in the next four years, and if done right, wil set LC up for success for years to come.
I ask for your vote on November 7th, and I will do my best to always do what’s best for the community, especially the kids. It is a great responsibility and I am up to the task.
Thank you all for the support that has been endless, to my family, friends, and community.

Lewis Central School Board picks Houseton to fill vacant seat
The Lewis Central Community School District on Monday appointed Travis Houseton to fill a vacancy on the board left by Randy Portrey, who resigned earlier this month for personal reasons. Houseton ran for a seat on the board last fall but was unable to defeat any of a trio of incumbents.

Hey Class of 96'ers.. Hope to see you Saturday at McCoys (inside Thunderbowl) for a casual 2o year reunion and flash back to high school PE! We will be getting started around 6:30 on the patio. Bowling is available for those that want to roll a few frames. Please comment if you plan to attend!!
