Congratulations to our SVA President Nikki Gold who has been selected as a finalist for the national Student Veterans of America , Student Veteran of the Year Award! This award is highly competitive and “recognizes a student veteran who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment to service, and meaningful contributions to the veteran community over the past year. Finalists embody resilience, initiative, and a dedication to uplifting others”.

Nikki has served as an SVA officer since November of 2024, Nikki also serves as LGBTQ+ Veteran Coordinator for the Holcomb Center and as an undergraduate trustee on OSU’s Board of Trustees. Congratulations and good luck Nikki!

Generations of Veterans helping Veterans

Our chapter was honored to volunteer with Vets helping Vets set up their Wall of Honor featuring the names of fallen heroes from 2001-2021. We deeply appreciate their service and ultimate sacrifice.

You can see the wall at the Albany Heritage Mall through Tuesday.

Do you want to further your education and build skills for your career? Oregon State University is proud to offer a paid Semi Conductor Course in collaboration with VETS UP! The deadline to apply for the fall course is July 28th!
