Here is some feedback from two of last year’s remote attendees: Dr. Jason Clark, Associate Professor of Practice within the College of Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Dr. Quincy Clark, Assistant Professor within the College of Education, Oregon State University.

1. What did you feel was the best experience gained out of attending the 2022 State of Black Affairs Summit?

We like most the fact that the conference actually exists, that people care, and that people are engaged. Even though our population numbers are relatively small, by coming together we magnify our power and support for change.

2. Were there any meaningful takeaways gained from the submit or connections made.

The biggest takeaway for us is that there is great potential by combining forces by showing up, speaking up, voicing successes, concerns, planning, and promoting beneficial activities.

3. Will you be attending this year's summit in person?

If our schedule doesn't allow our in-person attendance, then we'll definitely attend remotely. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s event!
