I finally cleared space so I could isolate and post pictures of groups of my fused glass. I have a range of gift items. I also have a group of fused glass to be hung. Hope this helps each of you to see many of my ideas.

I took a glass class in Phoenix. Teacher is Kelly Crosser Alge. I am so impressed with the depth created using her technique.
I mounted my work on black acrylic which is custom built for the pieces.
Love the look

Just finished these three pieces. They are three layers with different colors and designs on each layer. Last fired to a high temperature. This firing brings all layers of glass to a state that becomes one piece.
The designs and colors on the layers show through giving the piece depth and interest.
With light coming in from behind the art just glows with color. I cannot pick my favorite.

Finally I had the acrylic mounting custom made. This piece is hard to photograph because the black acts as a mirror. I had to take photo from the side to eliminate me in the scene.
This uses both dichro and irid art glass fired in a kiln to create my new art piece. I really like the gold irid glass on the sides. Enjoy

This is my last glass creation. Took a landscaping class with Mark Hufford on watercolor painting on glass.
I really like the look and the results. But notice the placement of the piece in the frame.
I positioned the piece in the center of the frame on top of the frame glass. Glued and decided to add weight. Used four bottles of frit.
To my surprise, the piece had a mind of its own and repositioned itself.
I decided trying to remove from its chosen position would be real troublesome so I am letting the creation chose its own framing.
Sometimes art decides.

I was given with this small lantern. It is So cutie and quaint. Well adding custom glass panels just made it stand up and show off.
So pleased with the results.

Two new Small Works using black and white for the dandelions. I cannot decide on my favorite as both please me. Again the bases are custom so the design works from top to bottom.
The black and white surprised me as I am usually drawn to strong colors.
Live, learn, and grow.

My newest creation featuring a tree as the focal point. I enjoy placing glass that will enhance and create drama for the tree. The base is also a custom design so the whole sculpture is a statement from top to bottom.

My new work for this week. I really like the black and white dandelions. I am working on the reverse color with black dandelions and it is really coming to life.
The trees is a version that allows me to combine colors and shapes to create a finished art piece. The bases add a lot and are custom for each piece. There pieces are now on display at the Port Aransas Art Center.
