The Flour Bluff ISD Education Foundation made history as the first non-profit ever accepted into the Doing Business With Giants program hosted by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Through this competitive, hands-on professional development series at the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center, the Foundation completed all required sessions and earned a $5,000 grant.
This funding will go directly back to supporting the Foundation’s mission of enhancing opportunities for Flour Bluff ISD students.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this milestone achievement!

💻✨ Empowering student success through technology!
Thanks to the generous support of AT&T, Human-I-T, the Hornet Legacy Foundation, and State Representative Todd Hunter, 50 Flour Bluff ISD students received refurbished laptops to support their academic and career-focused goals.
Recipients were recognized for their dedication to academics, Dual Credit coursework, and Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. These devices will help students access educational resources, complete coursework, build career-ready skills, and stay connected to learning opportunities.
We are grateful to Representative Todd Hunter and our community partners for helping bridge the digital divide and investing in the future of our Hornets. Together, we are creating opportunities for students to thrive both in the classroom and beyond. 🐝💙
