Yesterday, our High School opened its doors for our very first CTE Open House!

Students, families, and community members had the opportunity to see the hands-on learning happening across our Career and Technology Education programs and get a closer look at where these experiences can lead beyond graduation.

From aviation and welding to health science and more, our Hornets are gaining real-world skills, exploring their interests, and discovering possibilities for their future.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to the community partners who continue to help create meaningful opportunities for our students.

We’re excited for all that’s ahead in Hornet Country! 🐝💛

Beginning today, September 23, student meal accounts that were previously receiving free or reduced-price meals may return to full price if a 2026–27 household application has not been received by the Nutrition Office.

We are proud of our Flour Bluff Elementary School Ocean's Club for teaming up with the Sea Pines Beach Clean Up Crew and Over the Bridge Future Fishers to collect trash from under and around the JFK bridge this past weekend. They collected 235 bags of litter and trash, totaling 2,434 lbs! 🗑️ Way to go, Hornets! 🐝

🎳 What a great way to welcome our military families back to school!

Our military-connected families came together at the Bowling Center aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi for an evening of bowling, laughter and connection. We’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the families who are such an important part of the Flour Bluff ISD community.
