We’re breaking ground! 🏗️ Flour Bluff ISD is excited to officially begin the Hornet Stadium Improvement Project, marking another major milestone in our Bond 2025 program.

For more than 75 years, Hornet Stadium has been a place where generations of Hornets have competed, performed, celebrated and made memories. These improvements will build on that legacy and help ensure the stadium remains a place for our students, families and community for generations to come.

Flour Bluff ISD is proud to celebrate continued growth in the 2026 Texas Education Agency (TEA) Accountability Ratings! Our district's overall score increased from 85 to 88, and all four campuses earned Distinction Designations! 🎉

Here’s a look at this year’s results:

⭐ Flour Bluff Elementary: 86 from 77
🏆 5 of 5 Distinctions

⭐ Flour Bluff Intermediate: 87 from 86
🏆 5 of 6 Distinctions

⭐ Flour Bluff Junior High: 87
🏆 4 of 7 Distinctions

⭐ Flour Bluff High School: 90
🏆 A Rating + 5 of 7 Distinctions

🎉 District Overall: 88 from 85
🏆 19 of 25 possible campus distinctions earned district-wide!

One of the biggest highlights this year is Flour Bluff Elementary, which went from zero distinctions last year to a perfect 5 out of 5 this year! What an incredible achievement! 👏

These results represent the dedication of our students, the hard work of our teachers and staff, and the continued support of our Hornet families and community.

We are proud of the progress our campuses are making and excited for what’s ahead! ❤️

Transportation Update 🚌 With increased traffic today, some bus pick-up and drop-off times may be delayed. Our bus drivers’ top priority is always the safety of your students. We appreciate your patience as we get everyone where they need to be safely. Thank you for helping us make the first day a great one! 🐝

Our Early Childhood Center is now offering tuition-based Pre-K for families whose children do not meet one of the state eligibility criteria for free Pre-K.

This is a great opportunity for families who want their child to experience the high-quality early learning environment at the Flour Bluff ECC.
