The Turing Machine Model 1 is a self contained computing device based on open Arduino hardware and software.

Basically a programmable machine that theoretically can compute everything that is computable.

Originally created for a well received talk and demo at the European Code Week 2014 in Athens the prototype was further developed for the Maker Faires in New York and Rome, both in 2015.

It is the simplest of all computers and with a mimimal programming language that allows playful interaction with computation, mathematics and patterns.
