Happy Earth Day everyone! For Muslims, Earth Day is every day. Caring for the Earth is our sacred duty, and we are entrusted with the well-being of all that is living and their homes on our planet.

We are so pleased to celebrate TLC students, Hajera, for placing first, and Waed and Muhamed, for receiving medals in their divisions of ISCN’s Qur’an Competition this Ramadan! May Allah SWT always keep Qur’an in their hearts! Subhanallah!

Subhanallah! So proud of our TLC Students who participated and placed in ISCN’s Annual Qur’an Competition this Ramadan! May the love of Qur’an grow in your hearts and enrich your lives! Keep shining!

Masha’Allah, Maryam, Amaya, and Junaina represented TLC in the Riverside County Science and Engineering Fair! Alhamdulillah, these young scientists brought 2 silver medals home! Amaya placed 2nd in her Elementary Divison and Maryam placed 2nd in her Junior Division, out of 530 students from 30 fairs from public, private and charter schools. 367 projects competed, covering 22 subject matters. We are so proud of our students who participated at the school fair and advanced to County!

Days 3 and 4 of Ramadan Spirit Week focused on community connectedness and God consciousness; focusing on Allah SWT. Students practiced how to prepare for Suhoor and Iftar, one class had a Ramadan Shop, and students continued to reflect through writing and conversations on the beauty of Ramadan!

Day 2 of Ramadan Spirit Week! It’s “Dress for the Masjid Day!” We continued conversations around sabr and shukr, painted the Ramadan moon, and discussed best manners and Ramadan etiquette 🤲🏼💙

It’s Ramadan Spirit Week! Today, TLC focused on the values of shukr (gratitude) and sabr (patience), discussing ways to demonstrate these qualities in our daily lives, as we prepare for our blessed month.
