They were greeted by snow on the ground, cheery camp counselors and a delicious lunch that consisted of sloppy joes, salad and tater tots before heading out to their first activities which included wilderness survival, creating a safe storage container for an egg and then had to test it by dropping it over a balcony to see if the egg would stay safe or crack, played some basketball and of course, the exciting adventurous ropes course!⛺️🦠🔭🧗🏼♂️🏹🥚🏀❄️

🌟📝🌟Imagination Machine will be coming to Rosa Parks and WE NEED YOUR HELP!!🌟📝🌟
🎭Imagination Machine is a company that turns your students stories into real life as they act it out on stage! They select stories from each grade level and bring them to life through acting, costumes and props!🎭
We need students from each class and from all grade levels to write and turn in a short story. Stories can be anywhere from a few sentences up to 2 pages long.
⚠️All stories are due by FRIDAY, JANUARY 28th.⚠️
Have your student turn in their story to their teacher or to the front office.
💚💚Please see the guidelines listed below.💚💚
1. Each story submitted must be labeled with the student’s full name, grade level, track and teacher’s name.
2. We accept stories from one or two sentences on up to, but not exceeding, two pages.
3. All submitted stories must be on paper no larger than 8 ½ x 11.
4. We accept as many stories per classroom as teachers can provide. We would rather have too many than too few.
5. Please avoid using specific prompts. Variety, creativity & imagination are highly encouraged.
6. PEN or PENCIL....if students can write their final draft in pen (black or blue ink) that is preferred, as we have to make a copy of each story. If not, please ask students to press firmly when using a pencil so it picks up on the photocopy.
