🌟 I PASSED!!🌟

After months of writing, revising, and wrestling with my words… I officially passed my dissertation proposal defense!! 🎓📚

My study is called:
“When Hearts Beat in Two Languages”
It’s a love letter to bilingual children, to immigrant families, and to the educators who open pathways.

This research honors my roots, mi comunidad, and the voices too often left out of policy conversations.

Thank you to my committee, my mentors, my Doctorxhood familia, my scholar familia, and my forever support system—Alejandro + the boys for holding me through it all.

Next up… data collection, storytelling, and making sure our LExLs are SEEN. 💜
