Today, Mr. Canino’s Botany class donate the lettuce they’ve been growing to the Market for patron distribution. Students have been growing their crop for six weeks in the hydroponic towers featured in the top photo. They donated 17 bags of fresh romaine for Market patrons.
What an amazing gift!! A huge shout out to these students and to their fearless leader, Mr. Canino— what a fantastic pairing!

A quick shout out to the Erwin Valley Pride as third graders shop their first Farmers Market today!
Mrs. Wilson and her staff paired with to provide fresh produce shopping opportunities for the Lions. Students will peruse the veggies and fruit, make a selection and take things home. This month, all third graders get to shop and to experience their food in a whole new way!
Similar events are happening at Carder and Winfield.

Stop by our Market table at tonights CPPHS open house for some free fresh veggies and fruit! We’re tucked into an alcove in the E100 hallway (along the river and across from the [back] entrance to the Library.
We have:
green and purple cabbage,
Bok Choi,
rutabagas,
kohlrabi,
onions,
tomatoes,
radishes,
peaches,
grapes,
carrots, and
purple kale!
Pick up an order form too! Friday is our second delivery day of the week!
