A huge thank you to Ms. Shurley and Mr. Kelly for taking them since Mrs. Jess couldnโt go this year!
๐๐ FFA Camp 2026 Recap! ๐๐
This week, members of the Crisp County High School and Crisp County Middle School FFA Chapters attended the Georgia FFA Summer Leadership Camp in Covington. Throughout the week, students participated in leadership sessions, team-building activities, recreational competitions, and workshops designed to develop their leadership potential while building friendships with FFA members from across Georgia.
From challenging themselves in new activities to strengthening their communication and teamwork skills, our members represented Crisp County with pride and enthusiasm. Most importantly, they returned home with new experiences, lasting memories, and valuable leadership lessons they can bring back to our chapter, school, and community.
A special thank you to Ms. Tara Peavy-Shurley, Crisp County CTAE Director, for transporting our students to camp and supervising them until Mr. Kelly was able to arrive. Her willingness to step in and support our students ensured they had the opportunity to attend and enjoy this outstanding leadership experience.
We are proud of these students for dedicating part of their summer to personal growth and leadership development. Safe travels home, and we look forward to seeing how they apply what they learned throughout the coming school year!
