The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the professional org for literacy educators from preK through college, has published a working AI framework for English classrooms, funded by Google.

They're asking teachers to give feedback before the final version is released. It covers student voice, critical AI literacy, and what academic integrity looks like now.

60 classroom teachers from schools across the country are building it out through December 2026, and your input can shape what they publish.
