Teacher preparation is essential to success in the classroom. Nothing drives academic progress as much as well-prepared and knowledgeable teachers. In our never ending efforts to make sure we provide the best education, our NEOCA teachers have joined other Founders Classical Academies for the Founder's Teacher Initiative in Dallas, Texas. This week, our teachers are exploring the essentials of why we teach (to create thinking people of character), principles of classroom management, lesson planning, and how to promote virtue among their students.

It has been an incredibly rewarding reminder of why we do what we do for the students that we love. Our teachers are excited to bring their new ideas, training experiences, and practiced techniques into the classroom for another successful school year!
