Kind Keeper, our small but mighty nonprofit, is currently facing a legal challenge and is in urgent need of a real estate attorney willing to step in pro bono or at a reduced flat rate.
We are being sued for 1/2 an acre of land, and we need experienced legal representation to help us navigate this situation and continue our mission of caring for animals in need.

PLAN FOR PETS

As activity in the tropics increases, it's important that you include your pets in your emergency plans.

Planning for your pets, during any emergency, should include:

o Updating your pet's microchip information & tags
o Have a plan for where your pet can go if you have to leave your home
o Ensuring your pet has proper shelter
o Taking updated photos of your pet
o Knowing where your pet's leash, harness, collar, carrier, and/or crate are located, and making them easily accessible
o Having several days of food and water for your pet

Take advantage of the "blue sky" days now, and prepare for when skies are gray. Follow Horry County Emergency Management for local updates.

It only takes a second to cut these rings and potentially save a life!

Reminder...please cut your plastic holders before discarding. Animals are at risk of death if you don't. It just takes a moment to save a life.
