Join us in giving a big welcome to one of our newest professors, Dr. Hal Halvorson! Dr. Halvorson began teaching at UCA this fall and currently teaches General Ecology, Environmental Practicum, and Inland Waters. In his free time he enjoys playing trivia, listening to contemporary rock music and hiking in the woods. Dr. Halvorson is originally from Washington state but he has loved making a new home here in Arkansas and enjoys hearing students tell him where they are from so he can better understand this place. Next time you see Dr. Halvorson, make sure you tell him a little about where you're from, but try not to scare him off! We're happy to have him here.
