📣 Reminder: CAP Conferences Tomorrow

CAP conferences will be held tomorrow in the Middle School Library.

🕗 Suggested schedule by last name:
• 8:00 – 12:25: Last names A–M
• 12:30 – 1:05: Teacher lunch break
• 1:05 – 2:55: Last names N–Z

Please try to follow the schedule if possible, but if it doesn’t work for your family, come when you are able.

⚠️ 8th grade athletes: Athletics is 1:05–1:55, so athletes will not be available for conferences during that time. Please come before or after that window.

If you cannot attend tomorrow, you may schedule an appointment with Mrs. Fielding (middle school counselor) for another time.

In 8th grade history, the student with get a study guide and we will go over every question in class. I will also be sending an answer key with them as well.

Parents/Guardians
Students are getting Dog Day papers and semester test papers today.

Blue Paper: Dog Day Form

This means your child qualifies for Dog Day (Monday, December 15, 2025). If they do NOT have the blue paper, they did not qualify.

Pink Paper:

This says your child qualifies to be exempt from ALL semester tests! They may choose to take the test to try and improve a grade, but they are not required to.

White Paper:

This paper means your child must take at least 1 semester test. This form tells you what day and time each test will be given. Please sign and return this back to the school so we know you have received it! Remember, semester tests are 20% of a student’s semester grade!

Semester Test Week Schedule:
Monday: Dog Day
Tuesday: Review for ALL tests
Wednesday: Tests for periods 1–4 (Release at 2 PM)
Thursday: Tests for periods 5–8 (Release at 2 PM)
Friday: Make-Up Day (Release at 2 PM)
