Today, we celebrate Brother Stephon Hall for his recent award and recognition from the Pettus Foundation.

Brother Hall continues to make an impact across our community as a firefighter, athletic trainer & coach at Shorter College, and facilitator of his "Barbershop Talk" panels, creating spaces for growth for men through shared experiences and meaningful conversations.

A proud member of the Epsilon Alpha Lambda Chapter, Brother Hall was initiated into the Brotherhood through the Nu Alpha Chapter at Arkansas Tech, where he now serves as a co-advisor.

Congratulations, Brother Hall, on this well-deserved recognition and for your continued commitment to service, leadership, and community.

Over the weekend, the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated - Epsilon Alpha Lambda Chapter (alongside the Theta Psi Chapter & Nu Alpha Chapter) volunteered for the Pine Street Backpack Program as part of a great community event supporting local students. We helped distribute school supplies while enjoying food, snacks, and activities with students and families.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve and be part of a day focused on our community and our youth! 🤙🏿🖤💛

Today, we proudly celebrate the Recharter Day of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Epsilon Alpha Lambda Chapter.

For the past 11 years, our chapter has faithfully served Central Arkansas, making an impact in Conway, Russellville, and communities throughout the River Valley and beyond. Guided by the principles of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind, we remain committed to uplifting our communities through leadership, service, and advocacy.

This past weekend, the brothers of Area 2 Arkansas hosted our Collegiate Brothers Retreat under the theme, "Alpha as a Business," equipping our chapters for the upcoming academic year and beyond.

Brothers participated in sessions on financial literacy, branding, and the importance of the spirit of Fraternity, gaining practical tools to lead their chapters with excellence. Special thanks to Tacos For Life for providing lunch and to all the brothers to help make the retreat a success.

A couple of days into April but here’s to the work that was done in March!

The brothers attended the 80th Southwestern Regional Convention in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and brought forth a report to the chapter. The brothers also enjoyed the events jointly hosted with the Mid Western Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. It was great time experiencing a joint convention at this level and we are appreciative of those who played a part in ensuring a successful convention!

At the same time, brothers also volunteered as helpers for the Festival Of Hope 2026 Fundraiser by the Children’s Advocacy Alliance. No matter the obligation, we are able to serve wherever we can.
