JFI Clubs Begin Friday, October 2!

We are SO excited for our first Club Friday! Our Falcons will have the opportunity to explore their interests, try something new, build relationships, and have FUN with their JFI Family.

To participate in Club Friday, students must:

* Wear their school ID badge with lanyard
* Have zero unexcused absences Monday through Thursday of club week
* Be present at school on Friday
* Turn in their club permission form by Thursday, October 1

We cannot wait for our Falcons to find their club and experience the JOY of our first Club Friday!

PTO Friday Snacks

Our amazing Fowler PTO will continue offering Friday Snacks for our Falcons! We are so thankful for our PTO and everything they do to make Fridays at Fowler a little more special for our students.

GT Referral Window Opens October 1

The Gifted and Talented referral window will be open October 1 through December 18, 2026.

Spring GT Testing: January 19 through February 5, 2027

Families interested in referring their child for GT testing can use the QR code on the flyer to complete the referral form.

Cox Martial Arts Gives Back to JFI!

We are excited to share a special opportunity from Cox Martial Arts in Conroe!

For every Fowler Intermediate student who enrolls with Cox Martial Arts during their Fall Semester promotion, Cox Martial Arts will donate $50 directly to Fowler Intermediate’s P.E. program!

Their martial arts programs reinforce confidence, focus, discipline, respect, leadership, perseverance, and healthy physical activity. Families are also welcome to schedule a free trial class before enrolling.

FALCON FEST IS COMING TO JFI!

Get ready, Falcons! Our FIRST Falcon Fest is happening Friday, October 16, and we are SO excited for an afternoon filled with FUN as we celebrate our Falcons for meeting our Standard of Excellence!

4:00–6:30 p.m.
Fowler Intermediate
Falcon Fest Fee: $6

Students will remain at Fowler after school for Falcon Fest.

The Falcon Fest fee and permission slip will be available through your SchoolCash Online account.

PAYMENT & PERMISSION SLIPS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14!

Concession Stand and Kona Ice tickets will be CASH ONLY and sold during the week of Falcon Fest.

FALCON FEST Q&A

Q: Who can attend?
A: Any student who is incident notification free from August 12 through October 2 is eligible to attend Falcon Fest.

Q: What car rider tag do I use for pick-up?
A: Please use your everyday car rider tag. Parents who need a car rider tag may request one through the JFI front office.

Q: What if I cannot pay online?
A: Please visit the front office to receive a paper permission slip. Payment cannot be accepted without a completed permission slip.

Our first JFI Club Friday is almost here!

Club permission forms are due Thursday, October 1, because clubs begin Friday, October 2!

What a joy filled Falcon Friday at JFI!

Our Falcons cooled off with popsicles from our wonderful PTO, and our Friday Falcon winners enjoyed lunch outside. PTO also celebrated our staff’s September birthdays with ice cream sundaes and brought a Dolly themed Sonic drink cart that stole the show!

Our sixth graders added a little science to the fun, making pancakes during a lab on chemical change. We also cheered on our weekly Standard of Excellence winners for showing respect, responsibility, grit, and preparation.

From pancakes to popsicles to celebrating our Falcons, this Friday was full of learning, laughter, and JOY! Thank you, JFI PTO, for making it even sweeter! 💚💙

Our first ever Open House at Janene Fowler Intermediate was filled with SO much joy! Falcon families filled the hallways, met our teachers, and followed their students’ schedules through our new school.

And the excitement grew even bigger when our Falcons found out their Friday clubs! The big club reveal brought so many smiles and gave our students one more reason to look forward to the weeks ahead.

Thank you to our families, staff, PTO, and community partners for making this first Open House a night we’ll always remember. We Are Falcons! 💚💙

Our Fowler Falcons had an AMAZING time representing Janene Fowler Intermediate at the Conroe High School Homecoming Parade!

It was so much fun seeing our Falcons show their Tiger Pride as we celebrated alongside our Conroe High School feeder family. We loved the smiles, school spirit, and memories made along the parade route!

Please remember that this is only an example. Your child’s personalized schedule will be waiting on their desk in their homeroom teacher’s classroom, along with their JFI Club permission form. Families will follow their child’s complete schedule and visit each teacher during the designated rotation time.

Open House is not a come-and-go event, so please plan to arrive on time for the Title I presentation at 5:30 p.m. We can’t wait to welcome our Falcon Families on Thursday, September 24! 💚💙
