🐍✨ This is one of our Leucistic Monocled Cobras! ✨🐍

With its stunning white coloration and icy appearance, this snake is a true showstopper. Despite its pale color, it is the same species as a normal Monocled Cobra—just with a rare genetic trait called leucism, which reduces pigmentation while still allowing the snake to retain normal eye color.

• Monocled Cobras get their name from the distinctive circular “monocle” marking found on the back of their hood.
• They are native to parts of South and Southeast Asia.
• A cobra’s hood isn’t always displayed—it is a defensive behavior used to make the snake appear larger when threatened.
• Leucistic individuals are extremely uncommon in the wild, where their bright coloration would make camouflage much more difficult.
• Contrary to popular belief, snakes don’t chase people—they would much rather avoid confrontation whenever possible.
