The energy has been positive, the smiles have been plentiful, and our Falcon family is ready for an amazing year ahead.

Tomorrow is the first day of school, and we are so excited to welcome our students back for another great year!

As we get back into the routine, we ask our families for a little patience and understanding during the first few days of transportation. Our amazing bus and van drivers will be learning their routes, getting to know their students, and working to establish consistent pick-up and drop-off times.

Please keep in mind that buses and vans may run a little earlier or later than expected during these first few days. As everyone settles into the routine, timing will become more consistent.

And while we’re at it, we want to give a BIG Falcon thank you to the drivers who safely transport our students each day! We appreciate you and all you do!

Today we officially welcomed back our incredible teachers and staff as we kick off another exciting school year at Connellsville Area School District!

Superintendent Mr. Evans shared this year’s theme — FROM PRESENCE TO PURPOSE — a reminder that simply being present can make a difference, and when we show up with purpose, we have the power to make an even greater impact on our students, our schools, and our community.

And what better way to start the year than with some Falcon Pride! A JOB WELL DONE to our talented Marching Band for an outstanding performance and for bringing the energy to our opening day!

Here’s to a great year of showing up, making a difference, and remembering the purpose behind everything we do.
