Build season is officially complete, and our robot is almost ready! Every subsystem is being integrated into the drivetrain, and we’re so excited to finally reveal what we’ve been working on this Wednesday! Last night, Project 212 attended the Sequoia Elementary School STEAM Fair to give younger students a look at what we’re building at YVHS! We brought our Kitbot for a live demo, showcased the VEX robots we’ve built, and let students drive and test them out to experience the tools and opportunities our district offers. To highlight the creative side of robotics, they also designed and made their own custom pins. We had an amazing time inspiring the next generation of innovators and sharing our love for STEM!

Cheers to weeks 5 and 6 of build season! With prototypes complete, programming has taken over, getting our swerve driving to AprilTags, building autos, and integrating camera tracking while final climb assembly wraps up. With just one week left, we’re in crunch time preparing for robot reveal next week. Stay tuned!

We're half way through build season already?! This week started off great and ended even better. We have finished the KitBot! All Structures like the climb, ramp, hub, and the outpost are now built, so testing is on! Our prototyping team has been working on the climb, shooter, storage, and the intake. Every subsystem within our team has been doing so great! Additionally, we have summited the Dean’s List Award to FRC, nominating our Chief Technology Officer, Althea! our operations team has been logging everyone’s progress, making sure everyone is on track to meet deadlines. We are so excited for you to see our hard work. See you next week!
