My Apologies for those who's reached out to me and I have not replied or responded back yet. Please be patient with me a lil while longer as I'm just overwhelmed with all the calls, texts and emails of support for my LAC Wildcats Youth Academy Kids.
Unfortunately this gang shooting has been a nightmare for me, my staff and especially my Wildcat kids. The out pour of support and good will has been overwhelming but in a good way. I can't thank all the former Wildcat families, the community, my friends & family, celebrities, professional athletes, city officials and colleagues have reached out to support us. Again, it's been overwhelming in a good way.
For the next 2 weeks I will be campaigning our fundraising efforts full throttle to get us relocate from my building in Compton to a safer location. We will turn this unfortunate event into an example of a positive outcome.
Our gofundme page is starting to grow and we have an organization who will match what is raised by January 30th so please share my page with everyone you know and our hopes is to get as many donors as possible.
My grandmother RIH used to always say, "God is Faith so just put your trust in him and he will take care of you but in this case, God is taking of the LAC Wildcats Youth Academy Kids".
