Good morning Star families,

We will open on a 2-hour delay today, 2/25/26, with a 9:30 AM start time for our schools in Sandwich, Marshfield, and Plymouth.

Please note that morning snack will not be served, and we will not have our full staff available. We will do our very best to accommodate all children. *Please mark your child absent if they will not be coming in.*

Unfortunately, our South Dennis location remains without power at this time, and we are unable to open that school today. We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as they become available.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility, and please travel safely this morning.

All four schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, 2/25/26. We will do our best to accommodate all children; however, we are unsure how many staff currently have power or will be able to travel safely to school.

Please note that two of our schools, Marshfield and South Dennis, are currently without power, so opening at those locations will depend on power being restored. We will provide an update by 7:00 AM confirming whether we can proceed with the delayed opening or if those schools will need to close for the day due to the outage.

If you already know your child will not be attending today, we would greatly appreciate you marking them absent in the system.

For the safety of our children, families, and staff, and due to ongoing blizzard conditions and the continued loss of power at our schools, we will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday 2/24/26. Road conditions remain unsafe, and without power we are unable to operate safely.

We appreciate your understanding and will continue to keep you updated as conditions improve.

Today we honor the leaders who have shaped our nation’s history and inspired generations. We hope everyone enjoyed reflecting, celebrating, and making the most of the long weekend!

Dear Star Preschools Families,
 
Due to significant snowfall, dropping temperatures, and ongoing snow removal challenges across the South Shore and Cape, we will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. We will be opening at 9:30 AM.
 
This delay will allow towns additional time to properly plow and salt roads to help ensure safe travel conditions for our staff and families. If a full closure becomes necessary, families will be notified with ample notice.
 
The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding, and please stay safe and warm!

Weather Update ❄️

Dear Star Preschools families,
Due to the current snowstorm and unsafe road conditions, all Star Preschools will be closed on Monday, 1/26/26.

We plan to resume normal business hours on Tuesday, 1/27/26. Please stay safe and warm, and thank you for your understanding! 💙
