If you have a student that will be a senior next fall at Boothbay Region High School please encourage them to attend my FREE Application Jumpstart program at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library next Tuesday (June 23) and Thursday (June 25). This hands on workshop will prepare students for the college application process. For me, it is incredibly gratifying to support students in my community and to help them tell their best story.

It is a fundamentals workshop where students will build their application step by step to tell their best story. This workshop is offered online, and families can choose from private one-on-one instruction or a group session. Attached below is a link for more information, dates, and pricing. Located 3 miles from the center of Norwich, The University of East Anglia is home to over 15,000 students from 130 countries. Some of their signature programs include Environmental
History, International Relations, Global
Development, and Economics
Sciences, Business, Creative Writing,
History, and International Relations.

UEA is host to where exhibitions of ancient, modern and ethnographic art collections can be found in light-filled, modernist spaces.

In downtown Norwich, the UEA Broadcast House can be found where students are writing and producing content from day one of their studies. Broadcast journalism alumni from UEA can be found in positions at the BBC, ITV, and other prestigious PR firms.

Finally, the UEA campus would not be complete without Sylvester, (yes, he has his own IG account).

Norwich University of the Arts is one of the best British art schools for arts, design and media. Majors include a wide range of options including Acting, Visual Art, Fashion, Design, Games Design, Film to Computer Science, Creative Technology & Robotics, and Data Science & AI in creative industries. They have extensive resources for students including a cutting edge immersive visualization simulation lab, fab labs, and fashion studios. The city is easy to navigate and full of charm, great shops, farmers markets, and beautiful architecture. The curriculum is project based learning where students put their education into practice with close mentorship from faculty and real world experiences.

Looking forward to participating in the 2025 East of England Counselor Tour. Professional development is such an important element to this work and allows me to discover new opportunities for my students.
