Mortar Board UTC The Quadrangle Chapter of Mortar Board is UTC's premier senior honor society. We strive to uphold the ideals of scholarship, leadership, and service.

Mortar Board is the premier national honor society recognizing college seniors for superior achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. Only a select few students on each campus are invited to join this esteemed Society. Mortar Board members are presented with the unique opportunity to join a diverse group of students from vastly different disciplines and interests. Since Mortar Board’s founding in 1918, more than a quarter of a million members have held the honor of being initiated at 230 chartered chapters across the nation. Our Society provides its members with opportunities for continued leadership development, promotes service to colleges and universities and encourages lifelong contributions to the global community.
