Our high school students have been hard at work preparing for their first competition next week.

Over the past eight weeks, they’ve worked diligently on the design, prototyping, fabrication, and programming of this season’s competition robot. We’ve seen so much growth from freshmen to seniors and can’t wait to share their progress at the Buckeye Regional and Miami Valley Regional.

Be sure to tune in and watch them compete!

Natalie has been a member of the WorBots for four years and in FIRST for seven. She’s been a president for the past two seasons and an Impact presenter for four. In her time on the team, she’s worked to build community outreach and started new FLL and FTC programs. Her favorite memory in FIRST is seeing the FLL team she mentors watch their code work for the very first time.

After graduating, she will be attending The University of Texas at Dallas for biochemistry pre-med.

Congratulations, Natalie! We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish!

Logan has been a member of the WorBots for four years, and he’s been a lead and technician for two! In his time on the team, he worked to help code our competition robots, develop our team app, present Impact, and technician at competitions. His favorite memory in FIRST is our Buckeye Regional team dinner, where we all got together and shared stories from throughout the day.

After graduating, he will be attending The Ohio State University for computer science.

Congratulations, Logan! We cannot wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish.
