Capturing "LOVE!" moments I've always loved taking photos. Once I became a mom, my fascination with photography became more intense.

I would seek out the assistance of highly qualified photographers, and cherish the few photographs I would receive from the session. While I loved the photos, my child was performing LOVE moments on an hourly basis and I could not pay a photographer every day to capture these events. I decided to take my passion for photography to a new level. I received my "big girl" camera for Christmas in 2011, and I have been learning the tricks of the trade ever since.

My family along with my sister and parents spent last week in Hilton Head. We have been going there since I was very young. It's an amazing family vacation filled with all of the summer favorites: the beach, pool, ice cream, bike rides, concerts, fireworks, fishing, golf, etc. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family vacation location. I hate to leave, but these pictures take me right back to those awesome moments. These are a couple of my favorite shots, right out of the camera. No editing. My pumpkin...suntanned and carefree. The dog typically comes before the babies. This pup is about to get shafted on attention. He will be competing with his brother AND sister! Sorry Chauncey, the glory days are winding down.

I was able to photograph my girlfriend this morning. She is expecting twins late summer- a dream come true. I'm so thrilled for this beautiful couple and can't wait to meet the youngest KJs. LOVE!

Are you always behind the camera? Will your kids be able to look back and see the beautiful mom that raised them?

I know that I don't have as many pictures as I would like with my kids, but I'm making a stronger effort to get in front of the camera. I want to remember all of my kids' stages and how I changed with them. Just so we can all look back and laugh. :)
