To our incredible students,

Learning a new language is not easy. Some days it feels exciting. Some days it feels overwhelming. But I want you to remember something important:

You are brave.
Every time you show up to class… Every time you practice a new word… Every time you try, even when you are unsure…

You are growing.
We see your effort. We know there are late nights, the frustration, the courage it takes to speak when you’re afraid of making a mistake. And we are proud of your persistence.

Your accent is not a weakness. Your journey is not a disadvantage. Your story is powerful.
English is just a tool. It does not define your intelligence, your worth, or your future. You are already gifted. You are already capable. You are already enough.

The same God who brought you this far will continue to guide your steps. Do not give up. Your breakthrough may be one lesson away.

The Door Church-Columbus ESL Ministry is back in session as of July 08, 2025. We are still registering and testing perspective students for the rest of the Month of July and the first week of August.

Tuesdays- 10 am to 11:30 am
5 pm to 6:30 pm

We’re excited to share that we received a $1,000 Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart store #6307. This grant will help with providing free ESL classes that will address and diminish language barriers, enhance social and economic connections, and interactions with local communities. We are proud to spark good in our community!
