A summer program for female high school students, hosted by the Ohio State University Department of Mathematics.
Students learn math through coding, puzzles, and mathematical games! Girls Exploring Math is a non-residential summer program for female high school students, hosted by the Ohio State University Department of Mathematics. Students learn math and coding through challenging puzzles and games, and apply their new skills to create independent projects. In the process, they build confidence, develop a deeper appreciate for what mathematics can be, and--most of all--have fun!

So we'll be staying at home for the summer, but that's no reason to not have fun. It is a great opportunity to learn something new. Give yourself a chance to explore math and discover its beauty on our FREE virtual summer camp (for high school and middle school).

Buckeye Aha Math Moments BAMM: Buckeye Aha! Math Moments is a new outreach initiative from the Mathematics Department of The Ohio State University. The initiative aims to increase the public awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of mathematics through a variety of activities.

At this year's Beyond The Classroom, our campers solved puzzles and found winning strategies for games, using Python coding, discrete math, and a ton of creativity and grit. So much fun working with this wonderful group of women!
