Congratulations to all who were able to test last Sunday! It was a great finish for the spring semester. We'll post our summer schedule as soon as we can.

Thank you for visiting us at the Japanese Spring Festival! We appreciate being invited to demonstrate aikido. Come give it a try! We meet on Fridays and Sundays from 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. in Rm B138 W at the RPAC.

Our club is hosting a Kagamibiraki-shiki this weekend!

Kagamibiraki (鏡開き) is a traditional Japanese celebration of the New Year. It’s often celebrated by breaking open a ceremonial rice cake (kagami mochi) or sake barrel, but in this case Kagamibiraki is a tradition among Japanese martial arts communities to celebrate the first training of the year. We hope you can join us this year for a series of classes and demonstrations!

We are looking forward to the start of a new semester! If you are interested in trying aikido, please come to one of our classes on Fridays and Sundays from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in Rm B138 West at the RPAC.

We have a new schedule, and what a perfect way to start and end your weekend! ;) Join us from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Friday and Sundays at the RPAC. (Fridays are in the basement in Rm B20 and Sundays are on the main floor in Rm B138.). Beginners are welcome.

Come and see us at the Student Involvement Fair at the Oval from 4-7pm!

The Aikido Club was a part of the Japan FestOH! on Saturday. We appreciated the chance to demonstrate Aikido to enthusiastic kids and their families who braved the heat to learn about Japanese culture!
