I am so thankful that my 8 other brothers and myself can still celebrate and honor you! There is only 1 Cora Jean, C.J., Momma , and many other names that have identified you because of all the lives you have touch and continue to touch outside of our family! All 9 of us are truly in awe of who you are, and how you are such a primary influence in our lives and in our roles as men.

Thank you ( and Daddy Don of course) for the legacy you have given birth to and continues through the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many many other lives you impact! Welcome to another Moments with MOLO Marriage Ministries.

Today Loretta and I would like to introduce to you 5 thoughts to consider for establishing a powerful marriage covenant. It is based on the scripture in Romans - Romans 8:28

Consider the 5 following concepts:
1. We know
a. the assumption is that the husband & wife both know the Lord
b. Know God before you know each other

2. All things work together
a. Working together as a couple is hard work; every experience you go through as a couple is not by accident; you may not see the connection, but God does; He connects the dots in those situations that you don’t understand

3. For good
a. Doesn’t mean it will feel good, or be good – but it will work out for the good of your relationship! Be patient with each other while the Lord is working out the good He has for your marriage.

4. To them that love God
a. As a couple, the love you both have for the Lord must be greater than the love you have for each other. It’s the foundation of your commitment to each other, no matter what may come to challenge you.

5. To them who are called to His purpose
a. Consider that your marriage has a purpose that God wants to use that is greater than your perspective; your marriage is an example of the Church; think of the lives you may touch with your relationship
