Golden Bears come together when it matters most!

After a storm of this magnitude, our maintenance and custodial teams, administrators and staff — and even members of our football team helping clear debris from Marv Moorehead Memorial Stadium — all pitched in to help our schools and community begin to recover.

It’s a powerful example of Strength In Team — and another reason we’re proud to be Golden Bears. 💛🖤

We have identified potential structural concerns with the bleachers at Marv Moorhead Memorial Stadium at Upper Arlington High School. Out of an abundance of caution, no spectators will be permitted at stadium events until the bleachers have been inspected and approved by structural engineers.

Here’s what this means for upcoming events:

⚽ Thursday, Aug. 13: Colin’s Cup boys soccer scrimmages against Grandview Heights will move to Tremont Athletic Field at 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

🏈 Friday, Aug. 14: The UAHS football scrimmage against Watterson will remain at the stadium, with freshman at 5 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m. No spectators will be allowed inside the stadium. A livestream will be available at www.youtube.com/.

We also ask community members using the track at the stadium to stay away from the bleachers until further notice.
