Happy World Water Day! It’s the perfect day to finally get that car wash in. When you wash your car in the street or driveway all that soap goes down storm drains straight to the nearest stream or river damaging fish gills and amphibian skin, and reducing dissolved oxygen making it harder for fish and other creatures to breathe. You can protect the wildlife that call our waterways home by washing your car in the lawn or at a car wash.

While this is not a FLOW event, it's organized by one of our frequent volunteers and supported by our awesome partners at Keep Columbus Beautiful! Shout out to Clintonville Rotary and Scout Troop 28 for their planned litter cleanup event this Saturday (March 14) at Whetstone Park. Give them a hand and beautify our parks!
