There’s a lot that goes into keeping a childcare center running, and making sure your staff has the right training is an important part of it.

From knowing how to respond when a child is injured to understanding how to prevent the spread of illness and recognize signs of abuse, childcare professionals are responsible for so much more than many people realize. Each of these skills plays an important role in creating a safe environment for the children and families who depend on your center every day.

At CTO, we work with childcare centers across Ohio to help their teams complete the training they need, with flexible scheduling and on-site options that make it easier to train your staff together.

If your center has upcoming training requirements or certifications that need renewed, we'd love to help you get everything on the calendar. Visit ChildcareTrainingOhio.com to schedule your training!

A big thank you to our friends at Imagination Crossing for welcoming Joel out for a training earlier this month!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with their team and appreciate the time they took to complete their training with CTO. It means so much to us when organizations invite us into their spaces and trust us to provide training for their staff.
Thank you again, Imagination Crossing! We appreciate your support and hope to work with your team again in the future.

In an emergency, the first few minutes often belong to the people who are already there, like a coworker, teacher, coach, parent, friend, or even a stranger nearby. Training gives everyday people practical skills they can carry with them wherever they go, so they’re better equipped to respond while professional help is on the way.

That’s a big part of why we do what we do at CTO. The more people in our schools, workplaces, families, and communities who are prepared, the stronger our communities become.

Make sure you're prepared for whatever situation may come your way by signing up for a training at ChildcareTrainingOhio.com

A special thank you to Columbus City Schools for choosing CTO for several of their recent trainings!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to work with different groups throughout the district and help more of their staff complete the training they need. We’re grateful each time an organization chooses to bring us in, but there’s something especially meaningful about being asked back for additional trainings.

Thank you, Columbus City Schools, for continuing to trust CTO. We appreciate every opportunity to work with your staff and be a small part of helping prepare the people who serve students throughout our community!

Today, we want to take a moment to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, families, and communities forever impacted by that day.

May we continue to remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity shown in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We will never forgetđź’™

We've been putting some miles on the road lately, and we're incredibly thankful for it!

Over the last few weeks of August, Yesh and Joel had the opportunity to lead multiple types of training, including CPR & First Aid, CPR Reviews, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Prevention. Every stop looked a little different, but each one meant another group of people taking the time to learn, refresh their skills, and be better prepared for the community around them.

To every company and organization that has welcomed us through their doors, thank you. A special thank you to those listed here: AcademyOne Childcare & Preschool, Fuchs Mizrachi School, Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers, American Health Packaging, Ourday Preschool, and La Petite Academy of New Albany. We are so grateful that you chose CTO, and we don't take for granted the trust you place in our family and our team.

September might feel early to start talking about the end of the year, but we all know how quickly these last few months can fill up.

If CPR, First Aid, BLS, or another required training needs to happen before 2026 is over, now is a good time to start thinking about it. Whether you're due for a renewal, need training for a new position, or have an entire team that needs to get certified, getting it on the calendar now can save you from trying to squeeze it in during an already busy end-of-year season.

Take a look at what you still need to accomplish before December 31st, and let CTO help you finish the year prepared. Visit ChildcareTrainingOhio.com to explore upcoming courses or schedule training for your team
