Tonight a group of Chattahoochee Valley educators will depart for a field seminar beginning in Harper's Ferry, WV, to Gettysburg, PA, and culminating in Washington DC. The overall theme will be evaluating six Americans who made history in the development of civil rights for African Americans.

The objective of the experience is to understand the historical method of "perspective taking," to understand how the categories of culture influence motives, and to have goosebump moments as we stand in the footsteps of these important Americans.
