Yesterday, Columbus NPHC again partnered with The Mount Vernon Avenue District Improvement Association to honor our veterans who have sacrificed for our country.
Our 2026 honoree is Mr. Thomas James Knott. Mr. Knott enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 18 and he served for 21 yrs. He retired as a Master Sargent of Supplies where he was responsible for managing supply and logistic personnel. His daughter, Yvette Knott is an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. β Delta Omicron Sigma chapter.
Standing in the Mayme Moore gazebo, while the rain poured around us, created the perfect scenario for understanding the sacrifices made by our gracious and appreciative honoorees. We have to honor us!!
